NH Summer Food Sites - We want to provide you with a website for information regarding locations to NH summer food sites.  The UNH Cooperative Extension is including the USDA Summer Food Program sites on this map.  They are currently busy putting the site information into the tool as programs become approved.  Therefore, it should be noted that households will need to check back frequently as the information will change, sometimes daily.

Tile ProjectThe students at RJH are finishing this unusual school year by creating a speci
al tile using the process of Sgraffito, a technique of etching into porcelain. On this tile, they are sharing a word that expresses the gratitude they feel for a person, place, pet or concept. As we recognize the interconnectedness of our world, the students are encouraged to write their word in Spanish, French or another language. Kim Massaro, the local artist in residence guiding them through the project, will then affix the students' tiles to a stone path on the grounds of RJH to form the Path of Gratitude. Honoring both students and staff, the path is meant to be a place for all to enjoy. We will officially commemorate the Path of Gratitude with a ceremony this Fall. - Mrs. Bell

Rye Junior High School is part of School Administrative Unit #50 located in the beautiful Town of Rye, in the southeastern corner of New Hampshire.  Rye Citizens are proud of their heritage with the first settlement established in 1623.  They are equally proud of their schools.

The Parent Teacher Association diligently supports school programs and recently received a distinguished honorable mention in PTO Magazine's annual "Parent Group of the Year." This recognition is very deserving.
Citizens’ enthusiastic support for education resulted in the formation of the Rye Education Foundation, which maintains an endowment to assist educational endeavors that the regular budget cannot support and to provide funding for teaching proposals that have substantially enriched programs.

We consistently review, reflect and implement changes as needed in current programs.  We actively pursue professional development activities that improve our knowledge and skills so that we can meet the different needs of our students.  We recognize the uniqueness of our students and work hard to provide them with opportunities to reach their potential in a safe learning environment.

We welcome you to our community and wish your children an outstanding year at the Rye Jr. High School.
